IIT JEE Coaching – Online or Offline? -Guest Post




Out of the various engineering entrance examinations, the JEE entrance exam is supposed to be among the toughest in the world.  While students work for long hours for their IIT JEE Preparation, the general belief is that notes given in coaching classes will be enough for them to understand the JEE pattern and syllabus to a level where they will be able to do well. 

While this is true to an extent, the changes in the IIT JEE pattern and syllabus have made IIT JEE Online Coaching a better option than classroom coaching.  One of the primary reasons for this is the increasing number of students opting for the JEE Online Test as opposed to the offline option.  Let us take a look at the trends over the past two years.  We see a definite increase in the number of participants taking the online test as opposed to the offline mode.


Correspondingly, when we examine the data for the past two years, we also notice a marked increase in the number of students opting for online coaching, and a corresponding decline in the number of students opting for offline coaching


On comparing the two methods of coaching for the JEE entrance examination, we find the following differences:
