High Court of Judicature at Patna has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment to existing 64 vacant posts of Personal Assistant and also 30 anticipated vacancies likely to occur in near future in the establishment of Patna High Court in the pay scale of PB-II of Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4600/- plus usual allowances as admissible. Minimum Qualification for appointment to the post of Personal Assistant:-
- Candidate must posses a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University. Preference may be given to Law Graduates.
- Unless the candidate is an Honors Graduate in English or a Post Graduate in English, he must have obtained 50% marks in English at the Intermediate Examination.
- The candidate shall posses a certificate of English Shorthand and English Typing from an Institution recognized/ registered by or with the Government.
- A candidates shall posses a diploma / a certificate of at least a 6 months course in computer applications from an Institution recognized by the Government.
- The candidate must have minimum speed of 100 word per minute and 40 words per minute in English Shorthand - Typing Test.
- Total Vacancies for Personal Assistant/ Stenographer: 64 Vacancies (30 more anticipated).
Age Limit (as on 07th.Feb.2015):- Minimum Age shall be 25 years and Max age 35 years.
Examination Fee:-
- Rs. 200 for Gen candidates.
- Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Selection Procedure:- Recruitment will be directly on the basis of 1) English Shorthand-Typing Test with min speed of 100 words and 40 words per minute respectively. 2) Typing English0 speed of 40 words per minute. 3) English Language and Grammar Test. 4) Knowledge of Computer applications.5) Oral Interview.
