1. Daft:


Meaning: Foolish, insane, crazy, मुर्ख, पागल

Example: Don't ask such daft questions.

2. Damn:


Meaning: To condemn, to doom to hell, used for emphasis especially anger or frustration, धिक्कारना, शाप देना

Example: Turn that damn thing off, he shouted.

3. Dazzle:


Meaning: To bewilder with excess light, to surprise, चकाचौंध, चकित करना

Example: I was dazzled by the headlights of coming car.

4. Debase:


Meaning: To lower in quality or to adulterate, मूल्य कम करना, मिलावट करना

Example: The love episodes debase the dignity of drama.

5. Decorum:


Meaning: Decency, good behavior, शिष्टाचार, सभ्यता

Example: She exhibit remarkable modesty and decorum.

6. Defer:


Meaning: Put-off, postpone, टालना, स्थगित करना

Example: The final decision was deferred by court until March.

7. Delineate:


Meaning: Describe or portray, चित्रित करना, वर्णन करना

Example:  The law should clearly delineate the behavior that is socially aberrant.

8. Denigrate:


Meaning: Defame, criticize unfairly, बदनाम करना, निंदा करना

Example: He was trying to denigrate his influence.

9. Deprive:


Meaning: To strip, deny the possession of, to take from, वंचित करना, छीन लेना

Example: The Nazis deprived Jews of all their assets and rights.

10. Deride:


Meaning: To mock, to laugh at, ridicule, उपहास करना, मजाक करना

Example: He derided his students attempt to solve the toughest problem in mathematics.
