Full form of ACT -- American College Testing / American College Test

Details:

  • ACT is college readiness assessment test standardized for college admissions in the United States produced by ACT, Inc.
  • ACT test includes English Test, Math Test, Science Reasoning Test, Reading Test and optional writing test.
  • Scores are calculated on the scale of 0-36 in each section and a cumulative integer score is provided as final score.
  • ACT test has seen gradual increase in number of test takers and suppressed SAT in 2011 with 1666017 students compared to 1664479 students in SAT exam.
  • In India presently there is only one test center at Lala Lajpatrai College, but as number of students are increasing more centers are expected to open soon.
