- AFMC is Armed Forces Medical College located in Pune Cantonment in Pune, Maharashtra managed by Indian Armed Forces.
- AFMC Armed Forces Medical College's primary role is to train medical undergraduates and post-graduates, dental postgraduates, nursing cadets and paramedical staff.
- Admission to the MBBS course is through AIPMT followed by interview and psychological test. Previously there was special AFMC test but now students are selected on the basis of merit in AIPMT ( among only those students who have applied for AFMC).
- This college is presently affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
