Exam Pattern and Complete Syllabus for NDA / NA Exam Maths and General Ability
NDA / NA  Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for admissions to National Defense Academy or Naval Academy for Army, Navy and Air Force wings. Cracking NDA exam and getting selected in NDA/ NA is dream come true for those who want to join military services. Here we are giving exam pattern of NDA/NA exam and full syllabus of written exam (Mathematics and General Ability Test).

Examination Pattern and Marking Scheme of NDA/NA Examination: 

  • NDA exam consists of two papers i.e Mathematics and General Ability Test.
  • Paper - 1 Mathematics is of 300 marks to be solved in 2 hours and 30 minutes with 120 questions.
  • Paper - 2 General Ability Test (GAT) have two parts for total 600 Marks to be answered in 2 hours and 30 minutes with 120 questions.
  • Part - A in GAT is of English Language for 200 Marks and Part - B is General Knowledge for 400 Marks.
  • Part- B covers questions on mainly 6 Sections.
    • Physics (Approx 100 Marks)
    • Chemistry (Approx 60 Marks)
    • General Science (Approx 40)
    • History (Approx 80 Marks)
    • Geography (Approx 80 Marks)
    • Current Events (Approx 40 Marks)
