Recruitment of Assistants in the New India Assurance Co Ltd (NIACL) 1536 Posts - Download Official Notification and Apply Online

The New India Assurance Company, a leading public sector general insurance company fully owned by Govt of India has invited applications from Graduate or HSC (min 60% marks) passed candidates with age between 18 to 30 years. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online on the official website on or before 10th Nov 2014.

Job Profile:-   Assistants in class III cadre.

Pay Scale:- Selected Candidate will be given basic pay scale of Rs.7640-440(1)-8080-480(2)-9040-540(5)-11740-625(2)-12990-760(3)-15270- 790(2)-16850-840(5)-21050 and other admissible allowance as applicable. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.15,000/- p.m in the initial stage.

  • Commencement of Online Application:- 18.10.2014.
  • Last date of Online Registration:- 10.11.2014.
  • Payment of Application Fees:-  18.10.2014 to 10.11.2014 (Both dates inclusive ).
  • Downloading of Call Letters for Examination:-  10 Days prior to Examination.
  • Date of Online Examination:- 17th,18th and 24th January 2015 (Tentative).

Educational Qualification:-
  • Graduate from a recognized university or
  • Pass in HSC (12th) or equivalent with 60% marks (50% for SC, ST and PWD candidates) and
  • Candidate should have passed English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate / Graduation Level and.
  • Knowledge of regional language of the state of recruitment.

  • Total Vacancies - 1536.

Age Limit (as on 30.06.2014):- 18-30 years. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved candidates is also applicable.

Examination Fee:-
  • Rs.500/- for Male General and OBC candidates (application fee including intimation charges). 
  • Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD/FEMALE candidates (intimation charges only).

Selection Procedure:- Eligible candidates will be called for online examination to be held on 17th,18th and 24th January 2015 (Tentative). Shortlisted candidates from online examination will be called for Interview and Computer Proficiency Test. Final selection will be made on the basis of merit in written exam, interview and computer proficiency test subject to document verification.
