CBSE conducted National Eligibility Test (NET) exam on 29/06/2014 to determine eligibility criteria for Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in around 79 different subjects. Here we are publishing complete procedure and criteria carried out for deceleration of result of UGC NET June 2014 exam.
- Sectional Cutoff Marks for Each Paper
Candidates are required to obtain a minimum of marks separately in each paper i.e Paper - I, Paper- II and Paper-III. Detail of minimum cutoff marks for each category is as below.

layer)/PWD/SC/ST35 (35%) 35 (35%) 60 (40 %)
- Amongst those candidates who have cleared step-I, a merit list was prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.
- Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under step-II, have been declared qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only.
- Criteria for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship)
Out of the candidates qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor, those candidates who had applied for JRF, were in the consideration zone for the award of slots available for JRF. Methodology for allocation of JRF slots is as below:-- There are minimum of 3200 fellowships provided by commission through UGC NET Exam.
- As per reservation policy of Govt of India allocation of seats as per category wise is as below:
