Maharashtra Office of Chief Postmaster General Maharashtra Circle Mumbai has invited applications for the recruitment of 1680 posts of Postman and 21 Posts of Mailgurd in different divisions of Maharashtra postal circle in 2015. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for Postman and Mailguard recruitment in Maharashtra Postal Circle on or before 18th Feb 2015.
Job Profile:- Postman and Mail Guard in Maharashtra Postal Circle
Pay Scale of Postman:- Rs. 5200 - 20200 (Pay Band - I) with Grade Pay of Rs.2000 + admissible allowance.
Important Dates:-
- Date to fill online application form:- 24.01.2015- 18.02.2015.
- Last date for payment of fee:- 21/02/2015.
Educational Qualification:-
- For Postman:- Matriculation from a recognized Board or University.
- For Mailguard:- Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized board Or University.
- Postman: 1680 Vacancies.
- Mailguard: 21 Vacancies.
Age Limit (as on 18.Feb.2015):- Minimum Age shall be 18 years and Max age 27 years. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category applicants is also applicable as per govt. instructions (see full notification).
Examination Fee:-
- Rs. 400 + Rs. 100 (Examination Fee + Application Fee) for Gen and OBC candidates.
- Rs. 100 (Only Application Fee) for Female/SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Selection Procedure:- The Selection will be made on the basis of a common Merit list for Postman & Mail Guard in the Aptitude test for Maharashtra circle (Maharashtra State & Goa State) as a whole.
