1. Adhere:


Meaning: Follow through, remain faithful to, अनुसरण करना, डटे रहना

Example: They adhered to their strategy throughout the game and won the match.


2. Adjure:


Meaning: To charge or request under oath, शपथ लेकर कहना.

Example: I adjure you to tell me the truth.


3. Admonish:


Meaning: To warn or reprimand someone, चेतावनी देना, झिडकना

Example: He admonished the child for his bad behavior.


4. Adore:


Meaning: Worship, love or respect deeply, पूजा करना, गहरा प्रेम करना, सम्मान करना

Example: He adored his parents.


5. Adorn:


Meaning: Decorate, make more beautiful or attractive, सजाना, श्रृंगार करना

Example: Pictures and prints adorned his wall.


6. Adulterate:


Meaning: Make impure, mixed with impurities, मिलावट करना

Example: 6 died in Kolkata due to intake of adulterated liquor.


7. Affable:


Meaning: Friendly, polite, good-natured, मिलनसार

Example:  He was an affable and agreeable companion.


8. Affluent:


Meaning:Wealthy, धनी, संपन्न

Example: Affluence does not necessarily lead to a happier life.


9. Aggravate:


Meaning: Make worse, annoy, गंभीर स्थिति बनाना, भडकाना

Example: Military action would only aggravate the situation.


10. Agile:


Meaning: Active, quick- moving, चुस्त, फुर्तीला

Example: He was as agile as gymnast.
