  •  Lower-18 years
  •  Upper-25 years
  • For the candidate belonging to the Schedule caste and Backward Class categories relaxation of upper age limit of 5 years shall be given as per Punjab Police Rules 12.15 (1). (Exact date on which the date is to be determined is 01.10.2013)

Details: Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the under mentioned post on prescribed
application form.

Name of Post:- Male & Female Constable (General Duty)

Pay Scale of Post :- 5200-20200 plus GP of Rs. 2000/-.

Eligibility: 
Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for a candidate to be eligible for selection as constable shall be 10+2 for all categories.

Character Certificate: Candidates are required to produce a certificate of character from the Principal Academic Officer of the University, College, School or Institution last attended.

Physical Standard:
For Male Constables:-
  • Height-Minimum 5’-7”
  • Chest-Un-expanded – Minimum 33”
  • Expanded - Minimum 34 ½
(Minimum expansion of one and half inch)
(Note - Relaxation in Physical Standard to the extent of one inch in height and one inch in chest will be available to candidates belonging to Scheduled caste and backward Class categories

For Female Constables:-
  • Height- Minimum 5’-2”
(Note - Relaxation in Physical Standard to the extent of one inch in height will be available to candidates belonging to Scheduled caste and backward Class categories

Reservation: -
The reservation for dependents of Ex.-Servicemen are applicable as per Haryana Govt. instructions issued from time to time. The dependants daughters of ESM who fulfill all conditions of qualification, age etc. prescribed for posts, will be considered in the merit for the posts reserved for ESM to extent of non availability of suitable ESM candidates. They are required to compete like General, SC, BC categories. DESM candidates of Haryana claiming benefit of reservation will have to produce the fresh eligibility certificate from the concerned Zila Sainik Board at the time of interview. Mere dependent certificate will not be entertained. The benefit of reservation will be given only to those SC/BC/SBC/EBP (GC)/DESM who are domicile of Haryana State. The SC/BC/SBC/EBP (GC)/DESM candidates are required to submit original certificate duly issued by the competent authority at the time of interview.

How to apply:-
Application can be submitted online only along with application fees of Rs 100/- for a particular category of post as applicable. Due to technical reasons the online applications will be accepted after 13 Nov 2013. Government employees are eligible provided that they fulfill all the requisite conditions and apply through proper channel.

Application fee:-
The General Category candidates and dependant daughters of ESM are required to pay application fee of Rs. 100/- to be deposited in Haryana Government Treasury under head “0051-Public Service Comission-NA-104-UPSC/SSC Examination Fees -99-Fees from application to the Haryana Police Recruitment Board. The candidates shall mention the treasury challan number and date of the fees in the online application at the relevant Column ESM candidates are exempted from payment of application fees . No concession of fee is admissible to SC/BC of other States.
