ITBP Recruitment 2014 of Head Constables (Telecommunication) Total 229 Vacancies - Download Application Form and Official Notification

Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has invited applications from Male India Citizens for total 229 posts of Head Constable across India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply in specified format and application along with necessary documents and certificates must reach ITBP Office on or before 24.10.2014. Here are details:


Job Profile:- Head Constable in ITBP on Pay Scale-Pay Band-1, Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400 (PB – 1).

Educational Qualification:-
  • 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University.
  • 10th Class pass from a recognized Board with two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Electronics or Electrical or Computer from recognized Institute.
  • 10th Class pass from a recognized Board with Science (PCM) and with three years Diploma in Electronics or Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science or Information Technology or Electrical from recognized Institute.

Age Limit (As on 24/10/2014):- Between 18 and 25 years for General candidates (Candidates should not have been born earlier than 24.10.1989 and not later than 24.10.1996). Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved candidates is also applicable.

Vacancy Detail: Total = 229. UR (unreserved)-116, SC-34, ST - 17, OBC-62.

Selection Procedure:- Eligible candidates are issued admit card with date and place of recruitment. Candidates has to undergo three phases
  • Phase - I - Physical standard test and Biometric Identification.
  • Phase - II - OMR based written examination (Objective Type 100 Marks).
  • Phase - III - Verification of original documents and Detailed medical examination.

Examination Fee: Rs. 50 for General and OBC candidates by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all post offices.

How to Apply:-
  • Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respect and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘I’ and Annexure ‘II’. 
  • The application, either typed or neatly hand written in ball pen, on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application should be sent along with application fee, and enclosures as mentioned in para-11 to THE INSPECTOR GENERAL (Central) Frontier HQ, ITB Police, Plot No. 163-164 (E-8), Trilochan Nagar, P.O.-Trilanga Near Shahpura, Bhopal (MP), PIN Code-462039.
