Recruitment of AOs Administrative Officers Scale-I 509 Vacancies in NIACL The New Indian Assurance Co Ltd - Download Official Notification and Apply Online

The New India Assurance Co Ltd has been market leaders in India in non-life insurance business for more than 40 years with global business of Rs 14300 Crore (Rs. 143 Billion).

The New India Assurance Company has opened notification for recruitment of 509 Administrative Offices (AOs) 2014 in Scale 1 Cadre from open market in Specialist and Generalist disciplines (Finance, Engineering, Legal, Automobile Engineers and Generalist). Eligible and interested candidates can apply online on official website of the New India Assurance Co Ltd on or before 3rd Nov 2014. Job Profile:-   Administrative Officers Scale - I in Specialist and Generalist disciplines (Finance, Engineering, Legal, Automobile Engineers and Generalist).

Pay Scale:- Selected Candidate will be given basic pay of Rs.17,240/- in the scale of Rs.17,240-840(14)-29,000-910(4)-32640 and other admissible allowance as applicable. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.36,000/- p.m. in Metropolitan Centers.

  • Commencement of Online Application:- 11.10.2014.
  • Last date of Online Registration:- 03.11.2014.
  • Payment of Application Fees:-  11.10.2014 to 03.11.2014(Both dates inclusive ).
  • Downloading of Call Letters for Examination:-  10 Days prior to Examination.
  • Date of Online Examination:- 10-01-2015 / 11-01-2015 (Tentative).

Educational Qualification:-
  • Finance - Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)/ MBA FINANCE* / B.COM / M.COM
  • Engineering - B.Tech /B.E (in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering).
  • Automobile Engineering - B.E./B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering OR Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Diploma (at least one year duration) in Automobile Engineering.
  • Legal - Graduate in Law.
  • Generalist - Graduate in any stream.

  • Finance - 65
  • Engineering - 25
  • Automobile Engineering - 30
  • Legal - 40
  • Generalist - 349
  • Total Vacancies - 509 (SC-73, ST-37, OBC-138, UR-261).

Age Limit (as on 01.10.2014):- 21-30 years. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved candidates is also applicable.

Examination Fee:-
  • Rs.600/- for Male General and OBC candidates (application fee including intimation charges). 
  • Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD/FEMALE candidates (intimation charges only).

Selection Procedure:- Eligible candidates will be called for online examination to be held on 10.01.2015/11.01.2015 (Tentative). Shortlisted candidates from online examination will be called for Interview. The weight-age (ratio) of online Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. Final selection will be made on the basis of merit subject to document verification.
