UPSC CDSE - I 2015 Notification - Apply Online for Combined Defense Service Examination (1) 2015, Download Notification
UPSC Union Public Service Commission has invited online applications for recruitment of male and female candidates in India Army through CDSE (Combined Defense Service Examination) 2015. CDS Exam will be conducted by UPSC on 15th Feb 2015 in various examination centers throughout India. Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on or before 5th Dec 2014 through official website link given below.
Exam Detail:- CDSE is conducted by UPSC twice a year for recruitment of male and female candidates in various defense courses in different military academies.
Important Dates:-
- Commencement of Online Application:- 08.11.2014.
- Last date of Online Registration:- 05.12.2014.
- Download e-Admit Card:- 3 weeks before exam
- Date of CDS Examination:- 15th Feb 2015.
Educational Qualification:-
- For IMA and Officers Training Academy - Graduation Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- For Indian Naval Academy - Degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
- For Air Force Academy- Graduate Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 12th Level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age Limit (as on 01.10.2014):-
- For IMA - Unmarried male candidates not born earlier than 2nd January 1992 and not Later than 1st January 1997.
- For Indian Naval Academy - Unmarried male candidates not born earlier than 2nd January 1992 and not Later than 1st January 1997.
- For Air Force Academy- Male candidates not born earlier than 2nd January 1992 and not Later than 1st January 1996. Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Lenience issued by DGCA (India) is relax-able upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 02 January, 1990 and not later than 01 January, 1996) only are eligible.
- For Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men) - Male (Unmarried / Married) candidates not born earlier than 2nd January 1991 and not Later than 1st January 1997.
- For Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non Technical Course) - Unmarried women or issue less widow or divorces not born earlier than 2nd January 1991 and not Later than 1st January 1997.

- In Air Force Academy-32 Posts
- For Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men) - 175 Posts
- For Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non Technical Course) - 12 Posts
Examination Fee:-
- Rs.200/- for General and OBC candidates.
- SC/ST/PWD/Female Candidates are exempted from fee.
Selection Procedure:- Eligible candidates will be invited for written exam on 15th Feb 2015. Successful candidates from written exam will be invited for SSB interviews conducted in two phases followed by medical examination. Final selection will on on merit bases.
