Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET exam was conducted by CBSE on 21st September 2014 in various examination centers across India. More than 6 lakh students appeared for this examination. CTET exam is considered as basic qualifying criteria to apply for teachers posts in central and state schools. The exam contains 150 objective type questions carrying 1 marks each to be solved in 150 minutes (2 and half hour). Question papers was divided in 5 parts. Part 1, 4, 5 carrying 30 marks each n part 2 and 3 (only to attempt one) carrying 60 marks i.e 1) Child Development and Pedagogy. 2) Science and Mathematics. 3) Social Science/ Social Studies 4) Language - 1 (English / Hindi) and Language - 2 (English / Hindi). Candidates are required to attempt Section 5 in a language other than choose in Section 4.
