OICL AO Recruitment 2015 Selection Procedure, Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme and Syllabus

Oriental Insurance Company Limited has invited applications for recruitment of AOs Administrative Officers for total 246 vacancies in Accounts, Legal, Generalist, Actuaries and Marketing. Here we will publish complete detail regarding Selection Process, Examination Pattern, Marking Scheme and Syllabus for OICL AO recruitment exam 2015.

Selection Procedure for OICL AO Recruitment 2015:-

  • Eligible candidates will be invited for online written examination.
  • Successful candidates in written examination on the basis of cut-off score in individual tests and total score will be invited for interview followed by document verification.
  • Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in online written examination and interview.

Exam Pattern for OICL AO Recruitment 2015:-

  • Online test will comprise of 160 objective type questions and 3 descriptive questions for total 200 marks.
  • There will be negative marks for wrong answer, 1/4th of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • The descriptive English Test will be conducted only through online mode. Questions will be displayed on the screen of your computer. Answers are to be typed using the keyboard. Before start of typing answers to questions in Descriptive Paper please check all key functions of the keyboard. You will get 45 minutes to answer the questions.

Cut off Score: Cutoff score shall be applied in two stages: 

  • On scores in individual tests.
  • On Total Score. 
The total marks of the examination will be 200. Candidates who qualify the online Examination will be shortlisted for Interview on the basis of over all marks scored in objective and descriptive section taken together against full marks of 200.

Interview:- Candidates who have been shortlisted in the online examination will subsequently be called for an Interview by the company, up to three times the vacancies of respective discipline/category. Interview will be conducted at select centers.

Selection would be based on the performance in the on-line test & interview .The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment.
