Qualifying Marks and CTET Certificate for CTET Exam 2015 for General, OBC, SC and ST Candidates




Below is detail of qualifying marks for all categories in CTET exam 2014 and certificate issued for qualifying CTET exam. CTET exam is conducted by CBSE and is used as qualifying criteria to apply for teaching jobs in central govt schools and some states also use it as qualifying criteria in their state teachers recruitment. CTET certificate is issued to only qualified candidates as per criteria and are valid for 7 years form the date of commencement of result.

Qualifying Criteria for CTET (Gen, OBC, SC, ST)

  • A candidate who Score 60% or aove marks in CTET exam is considered as qualified or eligible.
  • School Managements (Government, Local bodies, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
  • Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

CTET Certificate

  • Qualified candidate is given a Score Card or Award of CTET Certificate or Eligibility Certificate.
  • The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.
