Here is mathematical trick to add any number without the help of pen/ pencil in few seconds. Shortcut tricks are very helpful for fast
calculations in competitive exams as time allotted
is too less for lengthy calculations. So shortcut tricks helps us to
solve questions is very less time hence improving chances of getting
good score and higher rank in merit.
Add Any Two Numbers
Follow steps below:
- First split the number ( like we have to add two numbers 43 and 62, Now 43 = 40 + 3 or 62 = 60 + 2.
- Now first add numbers at numbers at ten's place than one's place. ( Here 60 + 40 = 100 and 2 + 3 = 5.)
- Now add these numbers. 100 + 5 = 105. This is our answer.
Follow examples below to understand it better:
Eg. 1:
29 + 73
Step -1 => 29 = 20 + 9, 73 = 70 + 3
Step -2 =>20 + 70 = 90, 9 + 3 =12.
Step -3 => 90 + 12 = 102.
Hence 29 + 73 = 102. (Ans)
Eg. 2:
136 + 221
Step -1 => 136 = 100 + 30 + 6, 221 = 200 + 20 + 1
Step -2 => 100 + 200 = 300, 30 + 20 = 50, 6 + 1 = 7
Step -3 => 300 + 50 + 7 = 357.
Hence 136 + 221 = 357. (Ans)
Try adding these numbers:
- 81 + 69 =
- 23 + 32 =
- 58 + 25 =
- 241 + 176 =
- 343 + 724 =
