Indian railway's Railway Recruitment Board has published centralized "Employment Notice No. 02/2014 Published on 20-09-2014" for recruitment of approx 6000 vacancies for JE (Junior Engineer) Group and SSE (Senior Section Engineer) Group in various engineering disciplines. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online on any one RRB on or before 19.10.2014.
Job Profile:- Junior Engineers and Senior Section Engineers.
Important Dates-
- Last Date to Apply Online - 20.10.2014
- Date of Written Examination for JE Group - 14.12.2014
- Date of Written Examination for SSE Group - 21.12.2014
Educational Qualification:-
- For JE Group - Three year diploma or B.Sc in various Engineering Disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile etc...)
- For SSE Group - Four years Engineering Degree in various Engineering Disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation etc).
Vacancy Detail:-
- Total Vacancies: approx 6000.
Age Limit( As on 01 Jan 2015) :-
- For JE Group - 18 to 33 years. Relaxation in upper age limit also applicable to reserved categories.
- For SSE Group - 20 to 35 years. Relaxation in upper age limit also applicable to reserved categories.
Application Fee: For General candidates - Rs.100/-. No examination fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with Disability (PWD)/ Women/Minorities and Economically Backward Classes having annual family income less than Rs. 50,000/-
Selection Procedure:- Written test followed by Document Verification.
