SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd) a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking company has invited online applications for the recruitment of 70 Vacancies of OCT (Operator cum Technician Trainees) in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Instrumentation and Chemical streams and ACT (Attendant cum Technician Trainee) in Welder, Turner, Fitter, Electrician, Motor Vehicle Mech. Eligible and interested candidate can apply online on SAIL official website on or before 26th Oct 2014.

Job Profile:- OCT (Operator cum Technician Trainee) in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Instrumentation and Chemical and ACT (Attendant cum Technician Trainee) in Welder, Turner, Fitter, Electrician, Motor Vehicle Mech.

Pay Scale:

ACT - Rs. 15830 – 3% - 22150/-
OCT - Rs. 16800 – 3% - 24110/-

Last Date to Apply Online - 28/10/2014

Educational Qualification:-

For OCT Trainee - Matric and 3 Years (full time) Diploma in Engineering (in Mechanical/ Metallurgy / Electrical / instrumentation/ Chemical) from a Govt. recognized institute.
For ACT Trainee - SSC with ITI pass (full time) from a Govt. recognised institute (in relevant trades - Welder / Turner / Fitter / Electrician/ Motor vehicle mechanic).

Vacancy Detail:-

For OCT Trainee:- 25 Vacancies.
For ACT Trainee:- 45 Vacancies.

Age Limit( As on 01 Sept 2014) :-18 to 28 years. Reservation also applicable as per govt. rules.

Application Fee:

For OCT Gen/OBC - Rs.250/-.
For ACT Gen/OBC - Rs. 150/-
SC/ ST/PWD candidates are exempted from application fee.

Selection Procedure:- Written test followed by Interview.
