Indian Railway has published notification for Recruitment of More than 6000 Vacancies of Junior Engineers (JEs) and Senior Section Engineers (SSEs) through various RRBs (Railway Recruitment Board) throughout India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on their respective RRB website on or before 19th Oct 2014. Here we are going to publish full syllabus and examination pattern of RRB Junior Engineer (JE Group) and Senior Section Engineers (SSEs).
Recruitment Process for JEs and SSEs:-
- Recruitment process will be based on Single Stage Written Examination followed by Document Verification.
- Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit in written examination only.
- Candidates recommended for appointment will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post.
Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme:-
- Questions will be objective type with multiple choices.
- Main topics for examination will be General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning, General Science and Technical Ability.
- There will be total 150 questions, out of which about 90 questions will be of Technical Ability & General Science and about 60 questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning.
- Duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.
- There shall be negative marking in written examination and marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer @ 1/3 of the marks allotted for each question.
- The standard of questions for the written examination will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts.
