NSIT also offers engineering course in Electronics and Communication, Manufacturing Process and Automation, Computer, Instrumentation and Control, Information Technology, and Bio-Technology. There is flat 15% reservation available for the candidates of DCE/NSIT hailing from outside Delhi region including the National Capital Territory. These candidates are selected on the basis of an All India Merit Basis taking into account their AIEEE scores.

The eligibility criteria include minimum 60% marks in the 10+2 level examination either from CBSE or from any other recognized board of the country. The entrance examination very comprehensively tests the knowledge of the applicants which they have achieved in their studies up to their 10+2. Aspiring engineers must have an ardent interest in Mathematics and Science with excellent problem solving, team-building and communication skills to excel in this highly specific field. Although lucrative job opportunities very widely vary with each specialization, the domain constantly keeps evolving with the progression in science and technology.
