Details: 

  • AIIMS (AIIMSes) are a group of autonomous Govt medical colleges of higher education.
  • AIIMS Delhi (parent institution) was established in 1956.
  • For admissions in MBBS degree from AIIMS a special test is conducted by AIIMS every year.
  • First there were 300 seats for MBBS which are now increased to 600, so additional opportunity for 300 students.
  • There is also separate test for admissions in MCh/ MHA/ DM/ Ph.D programs.
