Full form of AIPMT -- All India Pre Medical Test


Details: 

  • AIPMT exam is conducted by CBSE, Delhi every year for admission to MBBS and BDS in several Medical colleges across India.
  • Currently 15% merit positions in the Medical/Dental Colleges of India are reserved for the candidates who pass this exam.
  • Responsibility of CBSE is to conduct entrance test, declare result and providing merit list to the DGHS and participating States/Universities/Institutions.
  • The counseling for successful candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by the DGHS and the Counseling for admission in seats under the control of other participating States/Universities/Institutions is conducted by their respective Authorities.
