TNUSRB Recruitment 2015 - Apply Online for 1078 Vacancies of Sub- Inspector of Police Download Official Notification

Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board has invited applications from Indian citizens through online mode for recruitment of Sub- Inspectors in Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate Service in 2015. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through link below or official website on or before 10th March 2015.

Pay Scale:- 9300- 34800+4800(GP)

Important Dates:-
  • Starting Date to fill online application form:- 08.02.2015.
  • Last date for online application:- 10/03/2015.
  • Last date of acceptance of online examination fee: 13.03.2015 
  • Date of Written Examination for Open Quota:- 23.05.2015
  • Date of Written Examination for Departmental Candidates:- 24.05.2015

Educational Qualification:-
  • Candidates should possess a degree from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
  • The candidate must have obtained the degree on or before the date of notification i.e. 08.02.2015.
  • The graduation degree should have been obtained
    • after completion of SSLC and Higher Secondary course in the order of 10+2+3 pattern or
    • after completion of SSLC and Diploma in the order of 10+3+3 / 10+3+2 pattern or
    • from an Open University / Distance Education/ College after completion of SSLC and I.T.I in the order of 10+2+3 pattern.
  • Candidates should have studied Tamil as a subject in X / XII / Degree. If not studied, candidates will have to pass the Tamil-Part II Test conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission within 2 years of joining the service.
Vacancy Detail:-
  • Total Vacancies- 1078 (984 +94 (Backlog Women Ward)).

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2015):- Minimum Age shall be 20 years and Max age 26 years. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category applicants is also applicable as per govt. instructions (see full notification).


Selection Procedure:- Selection will be through written examination followed by PET, document verification and medical examination.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) UG test was conducted by CBSE on 05- 05- 2013 across all India for admission to various medical colleges.
